Caley are underway with a major project in offshore renewables delivering and deploying their proprietary offshore wind turbine foundation technology which is used to secure wind turbines to their foundations, the project includes securing over 60 offshore wind turbines for a large, new offshore wind farm in European waters.

Caley have also developed an innovative, bespoke Pile Fixation tooling solution, that marries up with pre-installed stabilizing pins, within the monopile, and hydraulically pushes them out into surrounding foundation wall, thus providing rigid anchoring of monopile foundations, prior to critical grouting process. Caley also supply launch and recovery systems for this sector and carry out routing servicing on the customer vessel.

IMES carry out statutory lifting equipment and wire rope integrity inspections on many offshore supply and lay vessels. A key customer is a major player in the offshore wind sector and IMES have been working in partnership with them for many years.
